watchOS 6.2 arrives with in-app purchases and ECG support for 3 new countries




As per schedule, Apple has released new software updates for its hardware products including the Apple Watch, iPad and MacBook and rolled out WatchOS 6.2, iPasOS 13.4 and macOS Catalina 10.15.4 updates. Here’s taking a look at each of these operating system updates to know the features they bring:
WatchOS 6.2The latest software update of the Apple Watch brings to the users’ Apple Watch Apps Store for in-app purchases. Using this App Store, developers will be able to create and sell ‌Apple Watch‌ apps that offer in-app purchase options and subscriptions. Also, this update rolls out ECG support and irregular heart rhythm notifications to new countries.

WatchOS 6.2 includes new features, improvements, and bug fixes:
- Introduces in-app purchases for ‌‌Apple Watch‌‌ apps
- Fixes an issue where music playback could pause when switching from Wi-Fi to Bluetooth connectivity
- ECG app on ‌‌Apple Watch‌‌ Series 4 or later now available in Chile, New Zealand, and Turkey
- Irregular heart rhythm notifications now available in Chile, New Zealand, and Turkey


To update, you can open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and navigate to General > Software update. Make sure the watch is on charging or has over 50% battery left.


iPadOS 13.4The biggest highlight of the latest iPadOS 13.4 update is that it introduces support for mouse and trackpad with Multi-Touch gestures. Apart from that, it also adds ‌iCloud Drive‌ folder sharing from the Files app and new Memoji stickers. This update also contains bug fixes and improvements.


To update your iPad, navigate through Settings app > General > Software update.


macOS Catalina 10.15.4The macOS Catalina 10.15.4 update brings in features like Screen Time Communication Limits, which allow parents to limit their children to contact certain people through FaceTime, Phone, Messages, and iCloud Contacts.
